For the 18th consecutive year, Redwood City's Pride & Beautification Committee has sponsored the Mayor's Beautification Awards Program to foster civic pride in the community, beautify the City and to recognize people and organizations for their work to make Redwood City a better, more attractive place to live and work. For her clients, Marcia Bloom designed a low-maintenance garden without a lawn that was installed in summer 2005 and was selected a year later as winner for 'Best Use of Small Garden Space'.
